BA DA DA BA BA I'M LOVIN IT

wow!! what an incredible week for all of us eh! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOTLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh that baby, he'll never know how much his auntie loves him. make sure you spoil him for me!!! and happy birthday to austy too!! you'll never know how much i love you either ;)

guess who i got to do exchanges with this week?! SISTER RITCHIE! can you even believe that? just two St. George sistas in Canada.... it was the funniest day ever. i don't think i've ever laughed so hard. first peeing of the pants experience: we knocked on this house and the window was designed so you couldn't see through very well. then we see these long legs with a t shirt and underwear walking down (i swear it was like slow motion just so we had enough time to breath from laughing so hard) and a MAN answers the door!!!!!!!!!!! we kept our cool. he wasn't interested. but wow. what a laugh. second peeing of the pants experience: we are visiting a first nations family and they had told us to stop by a couple houses around the neighborhood. so we did, and she told us it was pretty safe and that the dogs wouldn't hurt us, but to be careful.. so we did. we sang primary songs walking to every house. on our last house we were SO scared the dog was a pit bull!!!!!!!! we got to the door and started talking to the man and he was like " no not interested bye " the SECOND we turn around the dog starts CHASING AFTER US! (he was on a leash like a foot away from us) but literally so close to us. sister ritchie starts booking it.. so obvioulsy i have to book it too.. and I FALL INTO A HOLE AND THOUGHT I BROKE MY LEG SO IM ALL LAUGHING SO HARD AND I WAS LIKE "I BROKE MY FOOT!!!!!!!!!" so she comes running back and we just couldn't even get up off the ground we laughed so hard. the workers in the street had a good laugh as well. really though, best exchange ever. whoda thought eh?

onto the miracles! about a month ago we ran into a boy riding his bike, literally we were like "cool bike its the color of your shorts!" and thats how it started hahaha we just talked to him for a sec and randomly invited him to church. we had seen him one other time. but didn't really say much since he's a YSA. and yesterday, he just SHOWS UP AT CHURCH! and he ended up staying the whole time!! then, sister Shafer (the one that looks like you mom;) invited him to dinner.. so we had dinner with him that night too! isn't that CRAZY!?!?! what a testimony to me, God is hastening this work! we had NO part in that!!!

one of the ladies we are teaching, Kristine, went to Vancouver for the week so guess what she asked us to do? BABYSIT HER CAT!!!!! like you're kiddin right?... do you want a cat when you come home? you might want to ask someone else... she knows i hate cats so she bribed me with something she's bringing us home from Vancouver ;) the things we do.. because we love Gods children... not his cats.. his CHILDREN! ;)

Julie (15 yr old) is doing good! we taught her about prophets this week and it was such a powerful lesson. have i ever told you how grateful i am for our prophet? how lucky are we to have someone so close to God directing us!!! let us never take that for granted!!!!!! i love Julie. she's such a sass. just like me. so we get along so well :)

we had the BC food drive this week which is HUUUGEE!!! we helped an investigator family pick up cans and then we had a corn roast afterward!! (best ward ever) it was absolutely amazzing. i didnt know HALF the people there! they were all from different churches and people investigating our church! there were around 200 people there!!!!!! isn't that amazing! it was SO fun!!! almost overwhelming, because there are so many people we needed to talk to ;)

i want you to all 'Remember.' remember who you are, remember all God has done for you, and remember that it is only on the rock of our redeemer, his son, that we MUST build our foundation on. don't take for granted the atonement, use it! build your foundation and don't fall. become the rock the river can't wash away! that is my wish, that is my goal. give your all to the savior. your love, your struggles, your wants, your sorrows. i know he is real. he is with me every day. "look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith" hebrews 12:2 doubt not, fear not! THE CHURCH IS MORE THAN TRUE! i love you all. i love where i am. God bless you this week! muah!
