family family family... do you know how wonderful the gospel is? it literally changes us. and I am so thankful for the blessing it is of watching others come unto Christ. happy thanksgiving to you! i had mine a month ago... :)
it was a week of full of being lead by the spirit. we see Ina almost every day and it is always a life changing event. this week she said many things that really tugged my inner pours. "you are just always lead by the spirit and say exactly what I need. you speak to me." "I look forward to the next storm to pass... but I don't think it will ever be as big of a miracle as you were being blown in my house!" oh, I definitely found who I promised in the pre-mortal life.
it all happened so sudden. an answer to both of our prayers, but obviously can be a bit overwhelming. she had some questions and just wasn't too sure on about her baptism on sunday. we had no other thing to turn to then prayer. and what is a more special prayer than fasting? we started it right then. during our meeting with bishop and her the next morning, we talked, and got things all sorted out. at the end.. we asked her if she wanted to ask her questions and she said "nope, they were answered in our meeting." i have a testimony of fasting! believe it or not, dad :)
her baptism will be next sunday! right after church, in the.... OCEAN! this lady, shes strong in every way. and she wants it in the freezing water. no complaints here.... we will be singing with the cute Sala family. if this isn't a dream.. i don't know what is.
we actually had some time to go tracting this week, what a blessing! we knocked into the funniest guy. we opened up and he was on the phone and he hung up right away and said "THE MORMONS! lets take a selfie!! all my friends are Mormon and they'd be so happy im talking to you!" he was so great. we get to go back and see him this week!!
i went on exchanges with sister Ritchie this week! (that will never be normal.. its too fun!) we were meeting with one of their investigators at a coffee shop and she wasn't showing up after some time.. we decided to really show our faith so we actually BOUGHT her a hot chocolate and waited another 10 min. right as we gave up and got up to leave, SHE WALKED IN!! faith is an action word..and we literally have to ACT. I KNOW THAT!
the word "unwearingness" has been standing out to me in the book of Mormon this week. what does that mean? every day, i go about it with unwearingness. complete faith, happiness, strength in the Lord, and happiness in my heart! and i challenge you to do the same! that's where the blessings flow!!
oh? do you not think we laugh either? on Friday i was saying my prayer to go to bed when i had the urge to cut sister cendredas bangs. i looked up.. and said "lets cut your bangs." i think we were zombies as we both walked so weird to the bathroom and i picked up my scissors. i videod it. look forward to that one!
i love where i am, i love the gospel of jesus Christ of latter day saints! as we follow him, he is BOUND to bless us! d&c 88. and when he blesses us he promises that there shall not be room enough to receive it. the blessings are there, if we open our heart to Christ. i love him. i love my heavenly father. and i KNOW that this gospel has been restored. happy happy thanksgiving! and know that i am thankful for my eternal family.
