I say it every week.. I've sat here for 5 min not knowing where to start! THIS WEEK, was the best week of my mission!!!! we were so busy I could hardly keep up with the Lord! he is blessing us so much I am constantly thanking him. even if that means we have to not listen to music and just thank him the whole car ride, he is SO good!!! :) I am SO grateful!
remember Ina? the miracle we had last sunday? she let us in her home right then and then we went back later that day to see her? we saw her twice this week and it was an even bigger miracle! she loves the book of Mormon and LOVES us! she slept in for church but... that didn't stop us! a cute cute family that just moved in the ward.. they go caroling every sunday and just sing fun up beat Christian songs to people. so I had the idea to go sing to Ina.. so we did!!! and she absolutely loved it! she loved it so much we ended up inviting her for dinner and we spent the whole night with her! haha it was such a miracle, thanks to the Sala family in the ward. they are the best missionaries around. I AM GOING TO DO THAT WITH MY FAMILY! mark my words.
we also met with that cute lady and her son that we met last week, it was the most beautiful lesson. Sis Ritchie was on exchanges with me and we both couldn't believe the spirit! she looked at the both of us and said "you are just bathed in white. and I see angels all around you."
as we were walking from a lesson to our car with one of the senior sisters, Sister Nickels (from Idaho) wanted to take a picture of us. so we asked the only Asian lady in the streets. good thing she had NO idea how to take a picture.. she was putting the lens to her face and we could see the screen that was facing her. I don't think we've ever laughed so hard. but the poor lady had no idea so we just nodded and said yes, that's perfect! just click the button!!! so, here is the beautiful Asian lady. she deserved a shout out. for making us all pee our pants for at least 10 min. if you aren't laughing, you aren't fun.
after we got our stuff together from that hilarious picture, there was another lady that walked by.. so I ran after her! I started talking to her and turns out she is a former investigator. she wasn't interested but somehow felt she wanted us to come over. so she invited us over the next day! it was INCREDIBLE. she said "you know, I've met with many religious groups, even sisters from your church but.. YOU (pointing to me) YOU are different. and I feel God here. with us." family, so many times I feel my heavenly father and savior next to me in lessons. people are precious, and I just absolutely love these people. 13 lessons later, this week was more than I could ever do on my own. the lord is carrying me through his work. and showing me, that HE IS THE WAY!
family, we do not speak enough about Jesus Christ in the church. It's amazing sometimes that I can go through all my church meetings and only hear his name at the end of prayers. It's sad that lessons, meetings, and talks all go speaking about good things, but they leave out the most important thing: THE SAVIOR! it's all about the Savior. "when you talk about Jesus, angels enter the room and the spirit can touch hearts. it's magical." talk about Jesus Christ in all that you do, no matter what the topic! he will enter in your heart! and the peoples' hearts that you are speaking with. I love my savior, my older brother, he is the truth and the light. people need him, WE need him more than we think. we are a part of HIS church, pray to know how blessed we are!!!! I love you all, this is the way to happiness, TRUST IN YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER! you don't have to trust me :) TTYL.. muah!!
