HELLO HELLO! i am still here, in the most beutiful place on earth. i try to take pictures... but i end up deleting them because they DON'T DO JUSTICE! honestly, its just a dream. but better than that.. the people are amazing too :)
this week was so wonderful! As we were tracting one day Sister Van Tienderen was like "lets go see this lady, she didn't like us the other time we went buuuut... i feel like we should go. she yelled at me.. but with faith, we can do it!" so there i was "um.. are you sure? what if she yells at me? we dont have to!!!" HAHA SISTER OVARD YOU LACK FAITH! there we were at her door step, it took her a second to warm up but before we knew it we were inside drinking grape juice! which was all she had. she started to love us, love our spirit, and love for Jesus Christ. she is very well christian. and boy, she loves Jesus. she is so close to the spirit i can feel it. we had a good talk about the plan of salvation. she is kind of bipolar and changes the subject.. and shes very old so we don't get anywhere but i know she felt it! as we were leaving she grabs me and says.. "you.. you.. you've got a man dont you. i see it in your eyes. you're happy with him aren't you? you have a lot of spirit young lady. your eyes melt my heart.." on and on and on... and then... she goes... "and you have a wonderful dad dont you." YA I JUST START CRYING!!! how does she know all of this!! the spirit. it's within each of us! i love her. we went back again a couple days later... and she screamed at us and told us to leave. but then when we were getting in our car she said "you're so beautiful, love jesus, halleijua!" hahaha bipolar Pam. I just love her. i'll leave her to God :)
the wonderful couple we are teaching are the cutest. you should see the way he loves her. i laugh the whole time! seriously, they are so sweet. and so willing to come unto christ. he has already been baptized, (centuries ago) but she hasn't.. and her baptism date is for September 13! and her wedding is the week before :) i think i am doing her hair! if i am still here. how fun will that be?!?! so so fun. i can't wait!! they are so amazing.
MIRACLE OF THE WEEK! finding is tough, but it goes good. we stopped to talk to this lady on the street but she wasn't interested.. not seeing the man behind her so we went to him after. he was SO nice. and we got to share a message and he was so willing to listen to us! (finally someone! lol) he wanted to come to church and everything! except he was leaving out of town so he said in a couple weeks. anyway, we left him with a mormon.org card and left! as we were praying that night we prayed that everyone we gave a card to would look at it. the next day, we get a call from him. and he said "i checked out your webiste and im really interested!" THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER! PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED! im tellin ya. miracles.
we're teaching a wonderful lady and her daughter and committed them to baptism this week! we'll see them again this weekend! the spirit is always so very strong there. i love teaching. my testimony strengthens every time!
i love where i am. i know that this is the Lords work, his timing, and his children! im grateful to be here. i hope you all enjoy yourselves this weeked!!!!!!!!!! and i send a little something out today i hope you get it before austin leaves!!! but if not, look for it :) make sure to take TONS of pictures!!!! as much as i want to be there, i got work to do :) i miss you all. i love you all. and i have so much charity for each of you. im playing the violin this sunday- just imagine me playing at austins homecoming ok? :) that would be fun. have so much fun family, we are together forever! THANK HEAVENS or this weekend would be the death of me. I pray for you all every day.
i don't have to say it cause i know you will.. but, HAVE THE BEST WEEK!!!!!!!!! and i will too :) muah!
