ONE ETERNAL ROUND

well fam, some exciting news for ya'll today.

I AM GOING BACK TO THE ISLAND! to a place called Nanimo-- pretty close to Victoria :) my new companion Sister Hemenway is in my stewardship right now- shes taught me to be a follower of Christ. she is straight up the most amazing sister i have ever been around. so i am PUMPED. we are opening the area as sister training leaders- so i am very excited to get to business! She's from Arizona and shes here for all the right reasons, truly, i feel so dang blessed with each area/ each companion/ each miracle baptism. my mission is a miracle to me. 

Tony, Kiko, and Steven (sister ritchie and i's asian family) CAME TO THE TEMPLE!!!!!!!! let me tell you some of the things that came out of his mouth, "i feel like i am at home" "my spirit is at rest" "my family is here together" i was almost in tears, but tears seem to stop themselves with joy. we had an awesome lesson, where Kiko said she believes with her whole soul there is a God. side note- SISTER RITCHIE AND I TRIED SO HARD TO HELP HER BELIEVE IN GOD. but all she needed was some time in China to believe-- what a miracle fam. she committed to baptism and they said they are shooting for their eternal family very soon. myself and heavenly fathers dreams are coming true. i couldn't be happier with that sweet miracle family in my life. 

i went on an incredible exchange this week with a sweet sister named Sister Heward- that girl. she is one true Disciple of Christ. you know what she did for me??? MASSAGED MY FEET. WITHOUT ME EVEN ASKING!!!!! hahaha ok- really thats not what makes her so special to me- this area and transfer has been amazing with Christ. i feel like i've come even closer to him than i was before. i've felt so much joy through others and through their successes. Sister Hewards goal before the exchange was to feel confident. by that- that means an increase of faith in Christ. because he is who makes us confident and have a fresh view of others, ourselves, and of God. i PLEADED with the lord every time she was talking to someone. before we reached a bus stop with some benches i turned to her and said "sister courage--- go sit by that lady and chat with her!!!!!!" SHE DID IT. let me tell you what i did in that moment --- i talked to people, (but) i literally pleaded with heavenly father to just give her confidence and enjoy herself in this, the Lords work. she ran up to me after FULL of joy. she got a return appointment with that lady. by the end of the day she turns to me in bed and said "sister ovard, i know christ because i know you." this was a beautiful transfer. im grateful for all it brought. and for the blessing of knowing Christ more. 

Zone meetings were this week! yes i said meetingS.... because we cover 2 zones we had to do 2 zone meetings. it was one crazy day. the spirit was incredibly strong!! we were so grateful they both felt amazing and they were nothing to compare to each other they were both beautiful!!

i think thats pretty much the highlights of my week-- still so crazy that im already leaving. but i trust the Lord in all that he has in store for me whether it was my plan or not-- im so ready to go. i have a testimony that every trial or good thing in our life is from the Lord. 4 more months to be a minister of him. we all have work to do fam- come to know christ. he HAS to be the center of everything!!
