A BOOK!

fam fam fam + lovely friends, 

this week fleeewwwww!! and i am so happy to tell you about it! first off, i called a potential in the phone and we were able to meet with him. he is James. the cooooolest guy ever! HIS FAITH is stronger than anyone i have ever seen. he's been through hell and back, and he has come to Jesus with his full heart. he has so much respect and trust for us which makes it all the better for him to listen to us! we had an amazing lesson last night, and he was able to relate so well to the restoration. the book of mormon in that lesson was our foundation. and he loved that it was another testament of Jesus! i love the book of mormon. you will hear me say that a lot to you today. i love the book of mormon.

i was challenged by a zone leader to always carry a book of mormon in my hands outside of my purse. i didn't think much of it, but i did it. i was in Langley (by the temple) contacting on exchanges with our sisters.. and i had my book of mormon in my hands and i was CONFIDENT (because that is key) and every conversation lead to christ- which lead to "have you ever heard of the book of mormon all about christ in the americas!" HAVING IT EVEN IN MY HANDS CAUSED THE POWER OF GOD TO PIERCE EVERY SOUL I TALKED TO. it has power. it is power. it is the truth we have!!! "the book of mormon, combined with the spirit, is your most powerful resource in conversion." i know that is true. i know so strongly that that book is from God. it is of his chosen prophets who we can learn from. and who KNEW christ. THEY KNEW CHRIST. if that doesn't make you want to pull it out right now----------------- just pull it out. 

it's crazy... President Frei told me in my blessing to read, and commune with God through the book of mormon and it has changed my life forever. i will always read that book and i will always have energy when i read it to SHARE the gospel!! they sacrificed their whole life for Jesus christ. and when they did, they didn't look back! when Ammon and his people lay down there weapons of war and "they never did fall away" because of Christ. "these are they who were truly converted unto the Lord" we have to think about Jesus more. we have to be as Jesus as if he were here with us. we have to grow closer to him. we HAVE to minister at all times LIKE HIM! TALK ABOUT HIM! it is Jesus Christ! the savior of the WHOLE world. he died for you. and me. and i will always talk about him. we have to be converted. how? through the book of mormon. 

"happiness doesnt come from doing what we want. Happiness comes from enjoying what we have to do." we have to read it, the promises are far beyond just reading that book. a man will get nearer to GOD by abiding by its precepts!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS VOTED THE TOP 10 MOST INSPIRATIONAL BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!! 

sorry, i get carried away. but truly, i know jesus because of the book of mormon. and i barried my weapons of war because i know its real and true. and all good things come from it!

diiiddd youuu knowwww... that i get asked where i am from by people EVERY DAY? they always think im part indian, from germany, or im from England. you see, i always just say im indian. because that makes my nose look normal :-) a man touched my face yesterday and told me "yous nature is native and u is beautiful" hahahaha i die everyday. canadians. I LOVE THEM.

& i think thats all i got in me. sorry for the rant about the book of mormon. i figured it was a good rant. i love the high calling i have to preach the word of christ and help others know him. i love introducing him to each person. we all knew him, we just need to be reminded of his mercy. dont forget him, he didn't forget you! 

I want to end with Ammons words, because i feel as though i connect so well to him. "I know that i am nothing, as to my strength i am weak; therefore i will not boast of myself, but i will boast of my god, for in his strength i can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever." that is my testimony, god is real! and i have come to know of his goodness to each of us.
